What I Bought on Black Friday – Part 1

Here is a list of what I bought on Black Friday and the reasons why I decided to keep these items.

I was not expecting to like the Haute Hippie fringe dress. First I am not the sort of person who wears black often. However, the dress is versatile, and can be dressed up with the proper accessories. An acquaintance of mine mentioned that the fringe gives the dress something of the 20s era but with a modern twist. This dress was already on sale when I purchased it but I got it for a little bit less because of a Black Friday coupon.

Concerning the two-toned jeans, the online picture does not reflect how beautiful they are. The quality is great (they are made in the US). They are not as soft as the high-end designer jeans. The fit is perfect, especially on my waistline. Sometimes designer jeans fit me comfortably, but they do not look that good on my waist. These jeans are just perfect for $100 and the wash of both colours is beautiful. I paid full price for this item, but it did not hurt much. I bought it from www.stylemint.com, a company in which customers contribute monthly payments of $30.00 that are used as a credit for buying in the long run.

The J.Crew Cheetah tee is also one of those items that looks better in person than online. I sized down on this item since it is slightly oversized. I like my tees fitted. Loose tops do not look good on me, and probably one of the reasons why I am not a big fan of the tomboy look. I bought this item also on sale.

Another post of my recent purchases will be posted soon.
