I was about to write this post in a few days. However, after seeing Caitriona Balfe wearing a gingham dress, I changed my mind, and decided to post my favourite selections. For those ladies who are young, the following items should be considered. Of course, if I have to make a choice, I would go for the off-the-shoulder items. Keep in mind that the off-the-shoulder trend is popular now.
I love the pastel colour of this top and its feminine design. However, due to my average height, its material / fabric would make me look bulky. I am also of an hourglass shape, which means I have a certain amount of “bulk” in certain areas (not much though). I think this top would look good on tall ladies.
If you are older, I suggest the following items due to their length and their classic style. I decided to include shirt-dresses since they can be dressed up and down. I like the Forever 21 dress due to its versatility (it can be worn with sneakers). I also decided to include the Solid & Striped shirt for those who have a more “tomboy” style. The Gabby Skye dress is simply timeless and classic. It is probably my top choice. However, I decided to buy the dress from Zara. I think there is only one size left of that one (a European medium which is a small in North America).
