Outlander: Summer Reading

I am going away for three weeks by the end of this week. Of course, I will be doing plenty of reading. I am taking with me a copy of A Trail of Fire. It includes the following novellas “Lord John and the Plague of Zombies,” and “The Space Between.” I finished reading “The Space Between,” which is mostly about Le Comte St. Germain and it deals mostly about time-traveling and the seer’s curse. The second one, which I am currently reading, takes place in Jamaica at the time when Lord John is taking over the Governor position. It is a good reading before the third season of Outlander. I do not think it might be included in the third season, but it is good to have some knowledge of certain events. Similarly, The Scottish Prisoner, which I read last summer, details events of Jamie’s life at Hellwater, such as raising his son William. It also offers plenty of topics for discussion. Once I am back from vacation, I will concentrate on writing about these novellas. I will start a re-read project for Voyager in December.
